Eighteen arrests and £16,000 worth of drugs seized in county lines week of action

A week of action targeting county lines drug crime in Warwickshire has seen 18 people arrested and more than £16,000 worth of class A drugs seized.

The activity in Warwickshire, which was aimed at protecting the most vulnerable and pursing criminals, was part of a national week of action targeting the problem.

NEW Fire Safety Guidance for Professionals and Carers

Warwickshire Fire & Rescue have worked alongside West Midlands to develop the 'Fire Safety Guidance for Professionals and Carers who work with Adults with Care and Support Needs'

The aims and objectives of this document and associated learning provides information in the following areas: -
> Identifying risk and vulnerability to fire
> The importance to include the risk of fire at initial assessment and care plan design
> When and how to refer to WFRS including what support and services are available

Hate Crime Annual Report 2018

The Warwickshire Hate Crime Partnership has published their annual report on hate crime in Warwickshire. This is the third report to be compiled by Partners in Warwickshire. The report features data and information from a range of community safety partners and provides a great insight into the prevalence and pattern of hate crime in the region. The document also highlights the work that has been completed to tackle hate crime over the last 12 months, sets out future priorities and the next steps in the forthcoming year.
