The Contextual Safeguarding Resource booklet was developed with the YRAP (Young Researcher’s Advisory Panel), in the Safer Young Lives Research Centre at the University of Bedfordshire. The main aim of the resource is to help practitioners who work with Young People have discussions about harm outside of the home and introduce a Contextual Safeguarding Approach.

Tips and advice for Young People and a section where they can reflect upon their own safety in different contexts, feature in the booklet.
