Notification procedure for a serious safeguarding incident/serious case review to WSCB

WSCB are informing all colleagues, in particular the lead person (who might also be the named or designated safeguarding lead for the organisation) with the responsibility for referring cases that appear to meet the criteria for either a serious case review or a local case review, of changes to the referral process. This is further to statutory changes in Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 which safeguarding partners must adhere to, now referred to as a Rapid Review.

p.h.i.l - preventing homelessness improving lives

The p.h.i.l service works across Warwickshire to prevent homelessness and improve lives. The service can support individuals who are at risk of homelessness and works with people at least 2-3 months before crisis.

Missing Appointments Matter video

NHS Nottingham City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have a commissioned a video animation called Missing Appointments Matter which is aimed at citizens to encourage them to attend medical appointments, and to take children and adults they care for to their appointments.

A snapshot survey was released last week by the Carers Trust which reveals a high proportion of infant young carers are regularly suffering from broken sleep to look after family members.
