Digital portal to strengthen safeguarding guidance for charities

The Government has launched a new online portal that will strengthen its support to charities handling safeguarding concerns or allegations.

Strategic Plan for Warwickshire Safeguarding 2019 - 21

Warwickshire Safeguarding has introduced a new model for safeguarding which allows it to develop a family focused approach to working across the wider policy and partnership landscape.

NEW - Think Family Guidance

WARWICKSHIRE THINK FAMILY
Protocol and Practice Guidance

The Warwickshire Think Family Protocol is a joint commitment of the Warwickshire Safeguarding Adults Board and Warwickshire Safeguarding Children’s Board. It promotes a ‘Think Family’ approach by all partner agencies.

Everyone has a responsibility to take a ‘Think Family’ approach in the context of safeguarding children and adults. Warwickshire Safeguarding Adults Board (WSAB) and Warwickshire Safeguarding Children’s Board (WSCB) recognise this to be a shared responsibility which must be at the heart of practice across all partner agencies working to support adults or children at risk of abuse and neglect in Warwickshire.

WARWICKSHIRE SAFEGUARDING - New partnership arrangements for safeguarding children and adults

Warwickshire is introducing a new, integrated model for safeguarding children and adults in the county. This means that the Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board (WSCB) and Warwickshire Safeguarding Adults Board (WSAB) will be replaced by a single body called Safeguarding Warwickshire.

The new model will build on the strengths of both pre-existing safeguarding boards to enable the partnership to develop new ways of working, avoid duplication, and improve outcomes for children, young people and adults.
